APERTURE
After my
research on aperture, i experimented and took photographs. As mentioned in my
research, the aperture is measured in 'f-stops' and the changes of those
measures causes different results in a photograph, as the light could be
increased and reduced. In order to apply the theory and to show how the
aperture effects a photograph, i took a series of photographs where the only
thing that changes is the measures of the aperture.
In this
series of photographs the ISO is 400 and the Shutter Speed is 1/10. The reason
of doing this series was to show that when the ISO and the Shutter Speed are
stable and where the Aperture is the only thing that changes, the light of a
photograph changes. Moreover by doing this I understand that the smaller Fstop
measure is, the more is the light of photograph and the opposite.
After doing
this series, i prepared another series where the measures of aperture and
shutter speed are changed. The measures that the Depth of Field is controlled
are the Aperture, the ISO which determines how sensitive the camera's sensor is
to light,where the higher the number, the more sensitive the sensor will be,
and the Shutter Speed which refers to how long this light is permitted to enter
the camera.
By doing
this i was able to understand that with the changes of both Aperture and
Shutter Speed the light of a photograph can be controlled.
